How To Setup Wi-Fi On Epson Artisan 1430
Epson Artisan 1430 is an all-in-one inkjet printer that is designed specifically to deliver large and Ultra Hi-Definition printout of photographs. Furthermore, this device comes with lighting correction and advanced color technology.
But, after purchasing a new Epson Artisan 1430 printer, the first thing that you need to do is that you have to set up the device. It can be done in two ways- wirelessly or by using the Wired Connection method. It is always better to go with the wireless method.

How to Connect Epson Artisan 1430 to Wi-Fi?

Step 1: Unbox the Device and Turn it on
First of all, remove all the protective materials from the box. Then, open the cover of the printer to remove the tape from the inside of the device.
Now, connect one end of the power cable to the printer and connect the other end to the nearby electrical outlet. Press and hold the Power button to turn the device on.
Step 2: Install the Ink Cartridges
Once the device is turned on, you have to install the ink cartridges on the device. To do this, open the cover of the device and then open the access door of the cartridges. Afterward, unpack the ink cartridges and remove the yellow tape from all the ink cartridges.
Next, insert the ink cartridges in their holder for each color. Then, push the cartridges until you hear a beep sound. Now, close the cover of the ink cartridges and also the cover of the printer.
Press the ink button to initiate priming the ink. It will take a minimum of 3-5 minutes to complete the process.
Step 3: Load Paper into the Input Tray
You can load different sizes of photos and plain papers into the input tray of the printer. To do this, first, open the paper support of the paper tray and then remove the extensions. After that, open the output tray and then remove its extensions.
Now, you have to slide the paper edge guide to the left and then load the paper into the input tray. Press the left edge guide to slide it against the left edge of the paper. Don’t squeeze the paper edge guide too tightly.
Step 4: Install Software
First, make sure that the device is not connected with the computer. Afterward, insert the CD-ROM that comes with the device into the DVD drive of the computer. It will open the AutoPlay window automatically. Tap on the ‘Run Setup.exe’ option.
Once it opens the ‘User Account Control’ window, tap on the Continue or Yes button to proceed. Afterward, tap on the Install button and then follow the on-screen instructions on the screen of the computer.
Once you reach the Connection screen, you will be prompted to choose the ‘Connection Options.’
Note: If you don’t have the CD-ROM comes with the device, visit the official website of Epson and then search for the most appropriate driver. Download and install that by following the on-screen prompts.
Step 5: Connect the Device to Wi-Fi
After installing the driver, you can connect the printer to the wireless network to complete the setup process. Here’s how to do this:
- At first, press the Home button from the Operational Panel of the printer.
- Now, choose the Setup option from the LCD of the printer.
- After that, tap on the ‘Network Settings’ option and then select the ‘Wi-Fi Setup’ option.
- Press the WPS button and proceed with the on-screen instruction.
- Next, keep the WPS button on the router down and wait for a minimum of 2 minutes.
- Press the Wi-Fi button of the printer for a minimum of 3-5 seconds.
- Now, you will see that the Wi-Fi indicator started to flash and the Network icon turns blue.
